Portrait photoshoot with Makalita - sneak peek.

I'm sick and in bed but I couldn't wait to share with you a small sneak peak of my portrait photoshoot with Makalita. It was a great to test out the 24-70 lens.

Let me start by saying not only does Makalita have this radiating natural beauty but she happens to be one of the nicest people I've met. She was so calm and collected and I was probably driving her crazy.

The shoot was in the city which is a little out of my comfort zone, I don't normally like shooting in the city where there are a billion people staring at what I'm doing. Am I even holding this camera right?
Makalita had her lovely boyfriend with her, he was so patient, bless him. The rain was enough to distract me and that was a huge challenge in every way. Oh so much to be learned.

You might recognise these white bricks from previous post. Love the texture.

More to share later.

  1. Gorgeous shots, nevertheless! I love the second one and the texture of that white wall is lovely.

Sorry you're sick! Sounds awful. I'll be praying that you recover quickly, Farrah.
