Sneak Peek: Jason & Sarah Wedding

This is Jason and Sarah. You may remember them from their engagement photoshoot. I photographed their wedding late March. It was beautiful. They are beautiful.

I can't wait to show you more. This is a tiny glimpse of their wonderful day.

simply, the rocks.

I've had this post in my drafts for a long time. I originally hadn't posted it because well, I'd forgotten about it and secondly I thought it was too simple and completely unedited apart from the black & whites. But I decided just now that I'm satisfied with that. I wish my current life was a little bit more simple.

These snaps were taken at the end of last year when my husband and I moved to Sydney for a short while (he is still there for work). We lived in the heart of the city (Pitt Street) and lead a very relaxed simple life. Boy I wish I could travel back in time!

These were taken around The Rocks. I'm in love with this cosy location in Sydney. Full of old buildings, cafe's, markets, hidden lanes and live music. Too bad we didn't discover this place sooner!

It must be explained, the first photo is my husband tightly holding on to the nut shop bag full of smoked almonds (our latest obsession). And the second photo makes me giggle, Sydney roads are so complicated :)

This post makes me miss him. A whole lot. Let's hope he returns at the end of April xx.

PS. Technical stuff.yew! When I was in Sydney, I set out a challenge to only use my 50mm1.8...so that's all I've used here.

Hanging out with the coolest family.

Hello!

I'm very excited to share with you a small sneak peak of a photoshoot I did a while ago when we still had some sun in Melbourne!

Remember this maternity shoot with deb? I finally got to hang out with her new family! we kept trying to arrange a time to see each other but it never seemed to work out. Cannot believe Deb's beautiful baby boy is here and he's already 3 months old. We took advantage of the sun, and had a lovely session with the sunset. Yes I do love my sunsets, oh how I love light! only a photographer would say that.

Travel plans. Am I coming to your city?

Hello lovely readers!

I am sorry for the lack of posting but have been a busy bee myself with many photography projects. I'm finding it hard working full time and working late nights editing photos but I'm getting there slowly.

I wanted to drop in quickly to inform you that I am heading to Europe from late June to early August this year. If you are a reader of my little blog and live somewhere in Austria, Sweden, France, Belgium or Greece (Greek islands) get in touch with me as I'd love to hang out with you! especially if you'd like to have a photo session :)

The last time I was in Europe was in 2006, I was studying in France in a little town north of Paris called Amiens. I made beautiful friends, which I hope to catch up with while I'm there. I can't wait to drive around Austria and see all the magical landscapes, and I'm looking forward to seeing my friend's newborn in Belgium, see my uncle and his family in Sweden and have a nice vacation in Greece with my darling husband.

I'm ridiculously excited. Really. You should see my grin right now.

Get in touch with me Europe readers!

xoxo
